ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT IN SYDNEY

Accommodation

Sydney, like other big cities has a huge range of accommodation available.

Our wedding is being held centrally, so it's probably easiest to stay in the city (CBD), Darling Harbour, Circular Quay or North Sydney.

However, there are some fantastic places to stay at some of Sydney's famous beaches, and many aren't too far from the centre of the city.

We've arranged a promotional rate for a couple of hotels in Darling Harbour (20% off best available rate on their website). Please contact Accor hotels directly (either via phone or email) with this code: KAT110318

Options for this rate are either at the Novotel Darling Harbour, or the Hotel Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour

Phone: 02 9288 7180
Email: h1181@accor.com

There are plenty of other options - and you may be better off searching through hotel websites like:

Transport

Sydney is somewhat better than Darwin for public transport, but a whole lot worse than London or New York.

If you're staying centrally, you'll be able to walk many places, and cabs aren't too expensive.

However - if you'd like to explore public transport options, check out the Sydney Transport Website.

Taking the train to our actual wedding ceremony may be an option, as the North Sydney station is a short walk from the chapel (although Kate has advised against doing this if you're wearing high heels!)
